Badges and Achievements
Updated March 16, 2026
Badges give you a visual record of consistency milestones across logging, movement, fasting, and meal variety.
Where to find badges
Badges live on the You tab. The Badges tile shows your earned badges and highlights what is new. Tap it to browse your full badge collection.
The tile uses a compact one-line layout with label, earned count, and badge icons so you can see progress at a glance.
Badge categories
Badges are organized into categories that reflect different aspects of your nutrition, activity, and consistency.
| Category | What it rewards |
|---|---|
| First Month Path | Milestones during your first month with Fuel |
| First Steps | Onboarding actions like logging your first meal |
| Streaks | Consecutive-day logging and activity streaks |
| Logging Milestones | Cumulative food logging and favorite-saving milestones |
| Goal Adherence | Days where you hit your calorie and macro targets |
| Health Score | Grade trends, high-grade streaks, and score improvements |
| Hydration | Consistent water logging streaks |
| Movement | Workout volume and workout types (strength, cardio, hybrid) |
| Nutrition Variety | Eating a diverse range of foods |
| Weight Milestones | Progress toward your weight goal |
| Fasting | Fasting duration and zone milestones |
| Specials | Unique achievements like perfect days |
Movement badges include eight achievements for workout volume and workout types, rewarding both frequency and variety.
How badges are earned
Each badge has specific criteria visible in its detail view. Tap any badge to see what it requires, your current progress, and when you earned it if already unlocked.
Badges are computed from your Apple Health record and Fuel activity, so they stay in sync with your actual data. If a badge looks wrong, check Apple Health Permissions to make sure the relevant data is flowing.
Badges vs Streaks
Streaks measure consecutive-day data quality — whether you produced a usable record each day. Badges measure milestone achievements across specific activity types and behaviors.
They complement each other: streaks keep you logging daily, badges reward what you do with that consistency.
