Redeem your Fuel Pro subscription offer code through the App Store. Your Pro subscription activates inside Fuel automatically once Apple confirms the code.
01What a subscription offer code is
A subscription offer code is an alphanumeric string Apple uses to start a free or discounted period of Fuel Pro on your Apple Account. Offer codes can come from us directly, from a partner, or from a campaign you signed up for.
Subscription offer codes are different from the 7 character App Store promo codes that unlock a free download. This article covers offer codes for Fuel Pro. The redemption flow happens entirely through Apple, not inside Fuel.
02Redeem from the App Store
This is the most reliable way to redeem an offer code on iPhone or iPad.
- Open the App Store app.
- Tap your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code.
- Tap Use Camera to scan the code, or tap You can also enter your code manually to type it in.
- Enter the code exactly as shown, then tap Redeem.
- Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple Account password.
Open Fuel after the code redeems. Your subscription should switch to Pro within a few seconds. If it does not update right away, force quit Fuel and open it again, or open Settings in Fuel and tap Restore Purchases.
03Things to know before you redeem
Offer codes are case sensitive, so copy and paste when you can.
Each code works once. Once an offer code has been redeemed on any Apple Account, it cannot be used again on another.
Offer codes are tied to a region. The country set on your Apple Account has to match the storefront the code was issued for. A code from the US storefront will not redeem on an Apple Account set to the UK.
You need to be signed into the App Store with the Apple Account you want the Pro subscription on. Being signed into Fuel is a separate thing from being signed into the App Store.
If you already have an active Fuel Pro subscription, a new offer code may not apply on top of it. You may need to wait until your current period ends and your subscription lapses before the offer code will redeem.
After the promotional period, the subscription renews at the standard Fuel Pro price. You can change or cancel your subscription any time from iOS Settings, in your Apple Account subscription settings, where Fuel will be listed alongside your other apps.
04If an offer code will not redeem
Most failed redemptions come down to one of a few causes.
- A typo or extra space in the code.
- The code has already been used on another Apple Account.
- The code has expired.
- The Apple Account is set to a different country than the storefront the code was issued for.
- The Apple Account already has an active Fuel Pro subscription.
If you have ruled all of these out and the code still will not redeem, contact us with the code and the email address on your Apple Account, and we will check the status with Apple from our side.
